Use Case Video Tutorial: Creating folding sequences

The 3D functionality creates 3D representations of 2D drawings whose structures form only one closed contour. If you need a 3D representation of a drawing whose designs form more than one closed contour, divide the drawing into two, create separate 3D representations, and then combine them. To use a closed contour multiple times in a 3D representation, do one of the following:

• Use the array transformation.
• Insert the drawing with the second/third and so on contour as additional part into the first 3D drawing.
