Video Tutorial: Aligning designs with artwork

In this video presentation we present aligning of a design with artwork. You should have a pre-drawn marks that correspond to the markers printed on the sheet used to cut the sample.

PROCEDURAL STEPS

1. In a 1up drawing, on the CAM toolbar, click New CAM .
2. To position the design over the working area, click Position Alignment , and then move the right marker to the origin of the coordinate system.
3. To adjust the orientation alignment of the design, click Orientation Alignment , and then rotate the design until the left marker lies on the y-axis.

note: Before sending the NC, on the machine the sheet should be aligned in the same way.

4. To generate tool path, click Generate Tool Path .
5. In the Tool Path Generation Options dialog box that appears, adjust the setting that you want.
6. To animate the tool path, click Animate Tool Path .
7. In the CAM Animation Control dialog box that appears, adjust the settings as you want them to be.
